प्रश्न 1: कवि ने अपने आने को ‘उल्लास’ और जाने को ‘आँसू बनकर बह जाना’ क्यों कहा है?
उत्तर: कवि ने अपने आने को उल्लास इसलिए कहता है क्योंकि जहाँ भी वह जाता है मस्ती का आलम लेकर जाता है। वहाँ लोगों के मन प्रसन्नता से भर जाते हैं। परंतु जब वे उस जगह और लोगों को छोड़ कर वहाँ से जाता है तब उसे तथा वहाँ के लोगों दुःख में डूब जाते हैं। विदाई के इन क्षणों में कवि आखों से आँसू बह निकलते हैं।
प्रश्न 2: भिखमंगों की दुनिया में बेरोक प्यार लुटानेवाला कवि ऐसा क्यों कहता है कि वह अपने हृदय पर असफलता का एक निशान भार की तरह लेकर जा रहा है? क्या वह निराश है या प्रसन्न है?
उत्तर: भिखमंगों की दुनिया में बेरोक प्यार लुटानेवाला कवि ऐसा इसलिए कहता है कि वह अपने हृदय पर असफलता का एक निशान भार की तरह लेकर जा रहा है क्योंकि यह दुनिया सिर्फ लेना जानती है। उसे सभी से कुछ न कुछ पाने की इच्छा रहती है। यहाँ भिखमंगों की दुनिया से कवी का आशय उस दुनिया से है जो सिर्फ लेना यानि कुछ प्राप्त करना चाहती है। कवि तो जहाँ जाता है अपना प्यार वहाँ के लोगों पर लुटाता जाता है। उनके मन में उल्लास भरता है। परंतु इसके बदले में उसे निराशा हाथ लगती है, उसे उन लोगों से वह प्यार और सम्मान नहीं मिला जिसकी वह आशा करता था। कवि निराश है, वह समझता है कि प्यार और खुशियाँ लोगों के जीवन में भरने में असफल रहा। परंतु दुनिया अभी भी सांसारिक विषयों में उलझी हुई है।
प्रश्न 3: कविता में ऐसी कौन-सी बात है जो आपको सबसे अच्छी लगी?
उत्तर: कविता में कवि का जीवन के प्रति दृष्टिकोण अच्छा लगा। कवि कहते है कि हम सबके सुख-दुःख एक है तथा हमें एक साथ ही इन सुखों और दुखों को भोगना पड़ता है। हमें दोनों परिस्थितियों का सामना समान भाव से करना चाहिए। ऐसी दृष्टिकोण रखनेवाला व्यक्ति ही सुखी रह सकता है।
